English Language Acquisition Program (ELAP) - Weekdays
The English Language Acquisition Program is for students who need help (intervention) in English Language Acquisition, Math, or ESL. The program is targeted at students who are not making adequate progress in the above areas and score far below basic (FBB) or below basic (BB) on the California Standards Test (CST). Students who have received a grade of D or F in English / Language Arts, Math, or ESL are also targeted. We currently have ELAP classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15 - 4:15 PM, and Thursdays from 2:15 to 4:15 PM.
Required Learning Academy (RLA) - Saturdays
6th Graders
The Required Learning Academy is for students who need help with English and Math. The program is targeted at students who are not making adequate progress in English and Math, and score far below basic (FBB) or below basic (BB) on the California Standards Test (CST). Student grades and teacher recommendations are also factors for consideration for eligibility. Classes are on selected Saturdays from 8:00 - 11:40 AM. Please see the school calendar for dates.
